| This one was pretty good! I loved the colors and the overall setup with the split town and the Valley of the Midnight Sun. The former was surreal, and the latter was magical and mysterious. The final reveal was really neat too. There were a few weird things still: The town being confusing to navigate wasn't really given any notice before the end of the episode. At the end, the heroes mention how there were only two people in town the whole time, but what about the little girl and the old man? What did Sheyenne shoot at the end to make the town shift back around? That was really weird and so unclear and basically a deus ex machina scenario. This episode would have been GREAT if those things were ironed out. This series seems to have this overall, even when the episodes are good. |
