Its a good adaptation but incomplete you can start off the manga where anime left, or read the manga directly from the first chapter, it doesn't really matter much.

Manga then anime imo, as the manga is completed. Jumping to anime afterwards might make some scenes better, such as the sports festival.

Ah yes, manga soundtrack sounds quite bad. Not to mention the bad choice of voice acting typesetting, compared to anime.

first manga and then anime u won't be disappointed, in fact you will enjoy the anime more so like that.

years later I reversed and gave a rewatch first then read the manga again and that was a lot of fun.

I appreciated a lot of things I hadn't with my first reading and viewing.

just watch the anime and finish the story with the manga. (It has a really good ending, def don't wanna mis out on it)

nah, the manga obviously has the superior soundtrack, along with voice acting and sound effects. those were top notch.

The anime is my all time favorite romance. They changed the ending to wrap it up in one season, but the anime ending was perfect. Still makes me cry to think of that last line, that last scene.

But manga is perfect. And you get more of the story at a nice, slow pace.

The answer is: Both. They are both worthy of your time, money, heart.

Anime->manga->anime again.

I personally watched the anime first, then went back and read the whole manga. But I don’t think they skip anything in the anime, so you could just continue on from volume 5

The anime is gorgeous but it's a very incomplete story. I'd reccomend watching the anime and then picking up the manga where it left off.

@Piromysl Agreed, I wasn’t too into the manga songs that went “ “ and “ “, I much preferred the anime soundtrack.
