Man that was nothing short of greatness and badassery. We got to see the journey of Luffy’s newfound power, Gear 5. He was fighting so freely and without any worry in the world. After all, he is the Fifth Emperor for a reason. That’s greater than any title that anyone else has. Kaido got what’s coming to him and now he better put his tail between his legs and run straight out of the Land of Wano. This is Momo’s country now and Otama, go ahead and eat as much as you desire. It’s the least you deserve for putting Wano on your back as you fought against Kaido and liberated the entire country. No more slavery, no more poisonous water, no more SMILE fruits. First it was Caesar, then it was Doflamingo, then there was a detour and Luffy had to debut Fourth Gear Snakeman and given Charlotte Katakuri his first loss, and then finally, FINALLY, Kaido got his ass kicked. It was an amazing showcase of the absolute loose style of fighting that Luffy has picked up from Gear 5. He’s more free than anyone else in the world and nothing’s standing in his way now.
