I personally didn't mind it, but if this season being slow and not as much of a joke bothered you, boy you are not ready for season 3, the manga part of it is really really slow, to the point, it sometimes feels too dragged out, still pretty great tho and there are some great jokes, but it's mostly very serious cause of garo

What a freaking topic, who think it's boring.
One Punch Man is a series, where the hero is too powerful and it shows us that how actually feel for being too powerful.So why those freaking idiots think it's boring. I mean what they want, 'challenge' huh... Who cares it's still amazing and everyone waiting for 3rd season.

S2 is a beginning of monster association arc. It's an act 1 out of 3, which establishes the story. There usually isn't that much action in what's basically a prologue. It needs S3 to make sense.

I think they kinda lost the plot of what made it work in the first place, cos the concept of one punch man is almost like parodying all these other shonen anime fights that take multiple episodes to complete, and saitama sorts those conflicts out almost instantly. but in the second season it started becoming what I thought it was initially mocking, so it felt like a spit in the face as a viewer. it started off super unique and fell right into your run of the mill anime arc :l

I don't see how it's slower it has a tournament Arc, a fight between all of the heroes and all of the villains, a fight between genos and speed of sound Sonic, and garo running around attacking any hero he can find there wasn't a single point where this didn't have something going on

I like the Garou stuff but other than that it felt pretty uneventful and extremely boring. I guess the tournament was pretty good too.

i personally liked season one more, but season 2 wasn't that bad tbh. The only bad thing about season 2 was that Saitama was a side character and didn't get enough screentime.

I honestly think S2 was just as good if not slightly better than S1 as far as story goes. The animation certainly isn’t as good, but the fights and characters are more interesting imo.
