Do Kirito and Asuna's romance get developed further in this season and subsequent seasons?

the seasons don't really, but the movie (not ordinal scale, the other one) is a regelling if sorts, and we do get more KiriSuna moments there

next to none. definitely not worth watching any more for romance (that's what i was in it for too)

@Aezi That's such a shame. I was giving it a rewatch and thinking that it's actually not that bad, but tbf a huge part of that is Kirito and Asuna's relationship. I really enjoyed SAO 1st season, 1st half, for that reason. Anyways, if I end up getting bored at some point in my rewatch I guess I'll just drop it.
