@ErogakiPatches I'll be linking this in the next newsletter, as we really need to move on from Imgur as it blocked so many images in the Bunkasai just for minor things (no actual nudity) and its deleting images for layouts.

@Shishio-kun Yeah, it's best to move on quickly before it deletes everything, especially if you collect cards and any of them are even slightly risque.

Oh, and Lensdump allows this to stay on their site...




So it's clear that Lensdump is fine with the erotic/lewd stuff. The only thing I say is not so great about it is the short loading time for the images when embedded into your post/blog/profile. But they still load at full quality and look good.

@ErogakiPatches yes I came across that link recently whilst collecting pics for my rotating wallpapers of mostly anime and fighting game girls in the gym O_O

I do not believe that I have had anything deleted from Lensdump and I appear to still have all of my cards. I at least have not gotten a single error from any of the images on my BBCode and my C.C. art showcase appears to be intact. Have you gotten anything deleted?

Hmmm, well if he knows what image they are and he has Reddit, then I would contact the creator of that site u/notmyfirstid. The guy is pretty good at answering questions and concerns and trying to better his site. I recommend getting in contact with him and seeing what happened. Also, did VL make sure that the auto delete function was not active on his uploads? It's a small thing but worth making sure it was not set to auto delete it.

OK thanks! I dont know but dont think he will use it anymore, I've been trying it out with others tho! I did find that the uploads are slower and I do get a lot of errors when doing big mass uploads. But it seems there's a time limit per page on uploading, if you leave the page open too long, I find uploads all get rejected eventually. I simply have to go back to my home page in the same tab and reopen the album to upload again.

When done I'll compare the quality of the three Imgur alternatives 👀 (imgbb, lensdump, and postimage)

@Shishio-kun I went to check out of curiosity and I think my account may have been deleted lol. I get an error every time I try to access that account, but the second account I created a few months ago logs in fine every time.


I mentioned before that my account was flagged by their bots, however that was supposed to be reversed after manual review. You can see that email exchange if you're curious.

I imagine the host should be fine for anyone that only uploads one picture at a time but I guess uploading 10 pictures at a time is too much. Considering I was skirting their TOS anyway by using them as a "CDN" for the MAL themes I am not really that bothered, after all I did read the TOS before using it. Their purpose seems to be very hobby based and portfolio focused. To be clear I didn't upload any NSFW or even more than ~100 or so images but oh well.
