The people criticizing season two are saying it doesn’t have enough action when the story it self is rich in plot doesn’t even need action so I get why they are saying that but it is still dumb cause those shounens are also great lmao

I don't really know what kind of response you're hoping for by posting this. Saying all Vinland fans are anti-shonen is a....pretty bold claim, considering many enjoy the same shonen series you listed as examples.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying things. And there's nothing wrong with disliking things. If you don't dig it, just don't watch it.

You see, if you make criticism and state it as an objective fact, which is not up to debate, then it is natural people will be upset, because that's not how you have a civil debate.

I mean, if you don’t like season 2 you really are a bad taster, I can understand subjectivity for a bit but for some things it’s just using it as an excuse to like shitty products. Vinland Saga Season 2 is objectively a masterpiece and there’s subjective view point that can change that. If you say “I don’t like it, there’s no action” than well you’re asking to get criticized

depending on how you made an opinion about the show, their points are valid if you're actually pointed out on how the show is lack of action. nevertheless toxicity isn't any good from either side, this including you making thread just for ranting about it. walk away from conflict is always viable way, "you have no enemy"

The most common 'criticism' for the Farmland Arc is that it is slow, and features comparatively lesser action scenes.
Which...is exactly what a shonen fan wouldn't like. Aren't they right in calling such a person a biased shonen fan? Nothing wrong with being one ofcourse, but why deny?

I think you watched Vinland saga too early, I remember watching kenshin when I was younger, I absolutely despised the „I won’t hurt anyone“ mindset. Last year I read it and it was amazing. Not to be the „you simply don’t get it“ guy, but Vinland saga tackles far more complex themes than your average show, if u don’t like it, just revisit it in a couple years, maybe your opinion will change. But if not, it might just not be for you.

I am a fan of vinland saga as well as other most shounens like Naruto jjk one piece etc.
as for S2 of vinland saga I have mostly heard criticisms from people saying it is too slow and boring.
