'Ojou to Banken-kun' Unveils Main Cast, Staff, Teaser Promo, Fall 2023 Premiere

The Ojou to Banken-kun (A Girl & Her Guard Dog) special stage at the Pony Canyon booth revealed on Saturday the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2023.

Akari Kitou (Kyokou Suiri) and Yuuichirou Umehara (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 6: Stone Ocean) are starring as Isaku Senagaki and Keiya Utou, respectively.

The anime adapts Hatsuharu's school romance manga, which began serialization in the Bessatsu Friend magazine in December 2018. Kodansha released the eighth volume on October 13. Ojou to Banken-kun has a cumulative 2.5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2020 and released the eighth volume digitally on March 21.

I read some of the manga and there was some stuff I wasn't really comfortable with and I really don't know why they chose to adapt this one out of all the shoujos out there but new shoujo anime are rare so I guess I'm gonna watch it to give support for new releases at least, and just to spite the whiny Twitter mob lol
