i was going to say TVer, but since you need subs, you could try Viki. I believe Hulu have some Japanese drama as well.
You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.

I think there's a handful of streaming sites out there like Kissasian but you're better of asking on Mydramalist

I know some but they're exclusively tokusatsu websites

Amazon Prime Video has some J-dramas on there.  Also, yeah Viki has picked up several J-dramas like @DreamingBeats stated on her post.

But sadly, yeah it kinda sucks that J-dramas don't get the same accessibility nor the huge audience factors that K-dramas (along with Mainland Chinese & Taiwanese dramas) are getting amongst international non-Asian audience demographic.  It's always been like that for many years (I know because I've been a drama fan since early-mid 2000's).  You aren't alone, people including drama fans have been wondering why J-dramas aren't riding the wave or cashing in on the K-drama fad did when Taiwan took advantage of it.  Here's an old Reddit thread from 2012 (if you want to see a recent Reddit thread, I found one here and this one that explore the same issue) that tell you about why J-dramas don't capture the same K-drama/Taiwanese dramas audience outside of Asia.

It all comes down to accessibility, & probably because from what I hear about J-dramas, they don't just stand out from their Korean & Taiwanese counterpart.

Thank you for this! It's quite sad that J-Dramas aren't so popular because even though they aren't at the same standard as K-Dramas I think there are some real diamonds out there but it's not easy to find somewhere to watch them!

Oh it's not only that, Japan was pretty late on the cashing in on the K-drama game when they had many opportunities too.  I mean Taiwan took advantage of it since the early 2010's when K-drama gained so much popularity.  Here's an article from LA Times back in 2015 that talked about Taiwanese drama's conquest in Latin/South America.  I mean Japan didn't do any of that when K-dramas (& Taiwanese dramas) were dominating the foreign TV drama airwave around the world, Japan didn't even export (or bother translating) 1 Litres of Tears For Spanish speakers in Latin/South America during the time when K-dramas were already conquering that area.  That's what I mean by Japan not cashing on the K-drama fad that Taiwan took advanatage of.

As I said, there was many missed opportunities for J-dramas to shine like their Korean & Taiwanese counterparts got, but nope, just like K-pop, Japan fucked this up.

It's mostly because the Japanese producers don't care about exporting their works, so there isn't any official streaming website with official subs like they have for example in China; on the other hand, there's also the fact that the J-fansubbers scene has evolved, over the last decade, from a sharing community that cared about SHARING, as it originally was, to a very closed niche that loves to make it harder and harder for people to find their subs. It all started to go down when streaming sites like this appeared and, instead of jumping on the occasion and riding the wave, many J-fansubbers (not ALL, luckily!) decided to oppose it. Of course, if you make it so that in order to watch a subbed drama the viewers are supposed to:

a) download RAW episodes via torrent (the least efficient and slowest ever method of sharing files - often they take AGES to download, and the fact that recently they almost always come ONLY as very HD version, weighing several GBs, doesn't make it any faster! And if you wanna try and download an older drama, good luck finding seeds for those!)

b) find the subs on Discord (you "only" have to find the Discord server, ask to be allowed in, get in what we could call "the first stage of admission" where you are asked to share personal info like social accounts etc., then after they approve you in you get to a "second stage of admission" which, upon completion of a couple more steps, finally brings you where you can download the subs)

Jdramas have an internal not external marketing focus, so much less international demand because the Japanese market wasn't designed to promote to international audiences. Also, the copyright is next level. It also means for fan subbers there is much less income from them because the audience hasn't been built the way Kdramas have. Cdramas are a bit different because the number of Mandarin speakers is much higher, so they're sort of in-between (although that's a super simplified explanation!).

no surprise most people don't bother having to go through all that and just skip J-dramas and watch K- or C-ones instead...
