Why is the rating for this show so low ???

Is it the characters or the story/plot ??

I personally found the story too be interesting ,

The development of Eden
The False Athena
Koga’s real origins
Souma’s story with his father
Mars was a different take on a villain that I actually really liked
etc.

I’m just curious to know

id say its too long, it does give a bad first impression, at first it looked that it was gonna have a school setting which fortunatelly wasnt the case, the designs of the armor are jarring at first, looking like magical girl clothes
i overall enjoyed but damn those first 8 episodes or so were rough

I agree with that, the first 8 episodes were pretty insufferable tbh especially the intro into the school

Probably a little more than 8, it didn’t start getting good for me until the raid on the school
