| Sometimes I just want to watch something simple with characters that I find amusing. I also liked this anime's sense of humor in a sensible chuckle way |
| The comedy around the MC and about the fans is funny, the fans remember a lot that Oshi ga Budoukan, maybe it's the strongest point of the series. The music and the dancing isn't the primary elements of the show, so I didn't really care about the dance animation or the amount of music. |
| I just like the main character who couldn't give two fucks about anything. His attitude makes me laugh especially being paired up with hyper ghost girl and the way he changes when she possesses his body is too funny. |

| You know what got me, all the hilarious takes on the fan culture. Dude too funny seeing all these chicks going crazy and acting silly. Every type of fan, even the like super normal fan that in weirded out by the crazy ones......yeah that is what kept me going. And the dude that doesn't wanna be an idol was pretty ok. idk maybe it's a guilty pleasure, yeah not amazing but for some reason just kinda turn your brain off fun. |

| If you were expecting a typical “serious” Idol anime, i can see why this show would disappoint you. Though based on the premise, i can’t see how you would expect that here 😅 Fortunately, i have zero interest in typical idol series, and only check them out when there IS a non-typical angle: Zombies. Horse girls. An AA-battery powered android. A mysterious, seemingly omniscient benefactor. Outrageously overzealous fans. You get the idea. So with hook of a ghostly genki girl, i was in! And then the witty dialogue, hilarious characters (Niyodo’s matter-of-fact “nope, don’t care” attitude, the fans’ uber-otaku level of behavior, Asahi’s reaction shots), clever writing (nearly turning Yoshino’s efforts to deal with Niyodo’s poor stage presence into a full-on manzai routine, poking fun at idol culture with “events” like the Farmers Market and Sports Day), coupled with the fact that it DIDN’T concentrate too much on the actual performances made this an enjoyable watch for me 🙂 |
