| Now that's a stand battle. Invisible zombies with no concept of pain or even gravity, Sport Maxx's Limp Bizkit is a formidable foe. Ermes would rather face him alone to avenge Gloria but Jolyne and F.F. will not let their friend fight alone, especially if Sports Maxx is connected to Whitesnake. Erme's Kiss and Jolyne's Stone Free were both utilized excellently. Hit 'em as many times as you need for Gloria's sake! |

| These fights get 5x better with these OST's around. Ermes rocking the pose in the end sure was the highlight. Now if I remember correctly, next arc has even more craziness than what we just been through. |

| Ironically, I never thought I'd say this for a JoJo episode (I always thought JoJo is a masterpiece but doesn't have it's place in my most liked animes), but this has to be one of my favourite episodes in all of my anime watching "career". Me being an absolute Bleach fan, I thought Shiro Sagisu's music can't be overpassed by anything else, but I must say the music in this episode absolutely transcended on another level. The usage of loudness, gradually changing throughout the fight, especially the "See the Stars" OST made it just a lot more emblematic and impactful (the fight I mean). It will surely make me respect Yugo Kano more. And that was not even touching the action itself. Ermes' monologue was insanely pleasing on a philosophical level, it gave great insight into Ermes' character, giving her thoughts depth, and it somehow brought back the mentality and feel of the first JoJos. Maybe even it had a huge impact on Jolyne, by the look on her face thoughout the fight. The moment of Sports Maxx's death, with the light reminded me of Ceasar's death, but it somehow was completely different while being alike at the same time. It still holded the sentiment of sadness in it, but Ceasar's death was more the crushing aftermath, while this one was a glorious ending. Even though Ermes cried, as a viewer I didn't feel like crying, rather amazement I would say and admiration. It's almost as it was the light coming from her and her achievement rather than from a dying spirit, maybe because no spirit went to heaven, but a spirit descended proudly for a last touch with the world of people. Ultimately, Ermes is an insanely good "friend of main character", gives me vibes of Polnareff, also a very well built character on the philosophical level, though I must say I feel like her background is already better built than his, maybe because I don't really remember now Polnareff's history. Her Stand seems powerful on a raw power short range level, and she seems to be already good at using her skill wise, which makes her generally quite powerful, again unlike the considerable difference in the power of Jotaro and his friends or other mcs and their friends from JoJo. She almost seems way to good of a match for Jolyne. They even nailed the animation, even though it's Netflix doing it, but I won't give them that much credit. Bonus point for the Stand of Sports Maxx being "Limp Bizkit" (as a metal fan). Last but not least, it's awesome the way they introduce little by little Dio's memories in a preview like manner each episode, it sure keeps you engaged from the start. Also apparently they didn't spoil so much in the first segment of the first episode, which is good, because Jolyne seems to be onto something, and when a Joestar is onto something, it's good content. Ultimately this pair of first and second episode of JoJo's part 6, will definetely be one of the best mini-arcs there are in my opinion, maybe it even pushes the whole anime into my lifetime favourites, because so far it's impressively good not only in the action aspect (as expected), but also on the more spiritual and philosophical level (which is important for me). |

| I like Limp Bizkit's ability. I desire to become invisible and become an undead. He's technically immortal at that point, right? I would also love to consume the flesh of beautiful girls! Muahahaha! I wonder what Sports Maxxx was able to do with Dio's bone. Hopefully, he can be revived somehow. That would be cool. |
