| Fruits Basket became my #2 almost immediately after the finale. I try to be thoughtful about my favorites and rank them in terms of their overall impact on my life & anime experience through the years. Some of my favorites have been there for years - a few have even been in my top 10 since I joined MAL. Fruits Basket has been one of the most personal storytelling experiences I've ever encountered and the feeling of euphoria I had when the final credits rolled reminded me of the happiest moment in my life when I was younger. The way Fruits Basket balances between the damage & trauma of life vs the healing that can come from overcoming those scars is truly spectacular. On top of that, I feel like it has one of the best overall moods of any anime I've watched. The comedy has me roaring, the tragedy has me bawling and the joy has me feeling blessed. |

| I haven’t actually gotten around to watching it lol. But it’d probably be a resounding yes considering how much I love the manga. |

| The final season wasn't in my top 10 until I rewatched it with my mum a week ago. Raised it from a 9/10 to a 10. Perfect show honestly. |

| Not at all, the manga is but the anime isn't well adapted and the final season is the worst part of the story imo. |
