| Surprising its not as common considering its the second most popular color for people in general. I think its just easier to make a mc have red/blue/black as it is almost an expectation people have subconsciously. |

| I looked on Anime-Planet and narrowed down my search with the tags female and green hair and found out that there are plenty of green-haired female characters in various shades of green: https://www.anime-planet.com/characters/all?hair_color_id=12&gender_id=2 I also checked AP's character custom lists and so far there aren't any lists about female characters with green hair. This is the only one I could find ☆ Green Hair ☆. I also checked AniDB but I can't seem to narrow down my search to females with green hair. | It doesn't hate them. In fact, as proven by the multiple replies in this thread, it's not really an uncommon hair color in any gender at all. It's just that if you obviously only limit yourself to watch anime belonging to MAL's most popular ranking or whatever social media tells you you have to be watching right now, you won't get to be aware of their existence. |
