Tokyo Mew Mew
| Tokyo Mew Mew New is finally out! Well i can't really say anything plot-wise based on just one episode, so i thought it'd be fun to take a look at another aspect of the show and it's predecessor Mew Mew costume design! 2002 vs 2022, which do you prefere? 2002  2022  Although i really like what they did with the new design, the zigzag edging gives them a cute but badass look, i still prefere the original look, especially Mew Pudding and Mew Lettuce, i think their original costumes really brought out their personalities, also loved how their hair changed color when they transformed |
| I'm not a huge fan of how the 2022 costumes look. To me, compared to the original outfits in the 2002 anime, they look pretty basic and too girly for my likining. Even Lettuce doesn't look that great in that outfit. I understand if they wanted to done down the outfits to make it a bit more appealing to the girls, but i wished they did something more to the characters than just giving the same basic outfit as each others except Zakuro. |
