Very trash.

It sucks too because the original plot and character ideas are actually very interesting.

But Akito’s plot was just very poorly executed and somehow had a bunch of filler even though it was movies.

86 used very similar plot and character ideas (in a totally different setting mind you) - and did a phenomenally better job, in literally every single way.

Not perfect, but fun. Pretty decent series with some amazing fights.

Interesting to see them, but not an important part of the main serie, this also happens to other sides stories...

They were a decent, fun ride. They're at least worth the watch.

A lot like 86 but over all it’s very good definitely worth watching

Not as good as the main story, but interesting, mostly because of the world-building.
For example, you will learn how Suzaku could travel to save Lelouch when he talked with the united nations.

only for diehard Geass fans who weren't content with the R2 ending, not a good show

I have watched only the first movie. It was too boring for me. It is nothing as good as Code Geass.

It is a decent war story. I like it more than Lelouch Of The Rebellion. It shows how realistic second-class citizens can be treated when war occurs. Koreans were harshly treated by the Japanese in WW2.

Lelouch of the rebellion is about vengeance, sort of like Tenkyou No Alderamin.
Akito The Exiled is more similar to UC Gundam, where it focuses on the message that there are no winners in war, only victims.

Only some parts of the initial premise and the characters are similar, but if you’ve seen both it’s easy to see the parallels.

The story in 86 is just so much better though, so even though Akito came first, 86 just executed it in a better way

They're alright you're not missing out on much if you dont watch them. Like some people above me said they're additional worldbuilding for fans of the show, I wouldnt recommend them to most people tho.

garbage but, if you wanna milk enjoyment out of it, you can watch the dub . . . it's a "so bad that it's funny" type thing

Well its like 86 but shit with elements of Code Geass sprinkled in to make people watch it. Like Julius Kingsleys plot that could have been cut alltogether, because it didnt needed to exist. Dont get me wrong, those scenes were really entertaining but all they were is pointless fanservice.

I kind wish they made the spin off connect with the main story of lelouch after the whole world unites… it would of been better
But I have no intention in watching the spin off series…
