They are called: 四畳半恋ノ邪魔者 - The Intruders on Love on 4.5 Tatami Mats 四畳半自虐的代理代理戦争 - The 4.5 Tatami Mats Masochistic Proxy Proxy War 四畳半の甘い生活 - The Sweet Life on 4.5 Tatami Mats 八十日間四畳半一周 - The 80 Days 4.5 Tatami Mats Cycle The 11 episodes seem appropriate, as some chapters will take a little more time than others. The first episode was not directly adapted from the novel, but was some kind of a 'very bad end' chapter. The tennis circle was also not included in the novel, there is (respectively) movie circle, becoming a disciple of Higuchi, softball circle and secret society. I think they chose to make the first episode like this to give the viewer an idea what is ahead of them. But of course nobody except Madhouse themselves know so far IF they are going to follow the novel that closely. |

| Absolutely stunning, really the animation is top notch here. Very hard to follow because of the fast paced dialogue and speech but I enjoyed this episode nonethless. I was expecting something weird and creepy but it looks more like a light hearted school comedy romance for the moment. |

| I was pleasantly surprised about what this episode presented. Dialogues weren't bothered me much, instead I rather found it highly entertaining to hear non-stop action pack of linearly continuing monologues. They ain't a bad thing at all. Animation and art was just spot on. I loved all the interpretations of Yuusa. There were some very, very fluid movements with some comically abstract scenes. OP and ED was also really good. Definitely the most impressive first episode aired this season. |

| They really need to slow down a little with the dialogue, but I will say it does suit the show. The real life backgrounds are so cool. This anime is a visual treat =D |

| Hella fast dialogue..but I really enjoyed it and I love the art style. About halfway through the episode I began to feel quite comfortable with it once I adjusted my reading speed to the pace and was able to take in more of the anime as whole. It's quite opposite of Saraiya Goyou, which I also really like so far. Guess I just tend to like the quirky ones. |

| Damn, that was actually kinda hard to keep up with subs. However, it was totally worth it. The experimentation of animation in this episode blew me away. |

| i thought the guy was the only one that was going to be speaking fast, but the girl, akashi speaks fast also lol. i'm not much of a speed reader myself, but from what i picked up it seems pretty interesting. |
| I was blown away by the speed of the talking at first, but luckily I got used to it fairly quickly. The formality of the monologue was nice, characters seem interesting enough, and the art style was refreshing. |

| Finally picking this up after a loooong time of saying "yeah I want to watch it sometime". Very impressive first episode. Super speedy talking. Those subs were flashing by like a christmas tree. I had to do small rewinds often so I could see the actual animation since I was reading the subs the entire time. Also, best ED or bestest ED? 5/5 for sure. |
