That was one of the best anime endings of all time for me lol. It was very realistic and it didn't turn itself into a “Im 14 and this ending is happy" type of thing

But yeah,I'm personally okay with her ending.
Its a bit insane how the worst person in this story got her happy ending.The backstory helped ALOT in exploring why she is the way she is and it is a bit heartbreaking.Her ending up with Arumi was a good choice the author made the more and more I think about it.
I was at first a bit sad that our main character and blonde guy didn't get to end up together but it was for the best since it would just be a painful relationship.
I'm really happy with the ending every character got.I heard there's a afterstory in the manga that I don't know about where those two do eventually get their happy ending.
The ending was worth it because jeez the anime was really really depressing to watch and not even the sad kind just very empty kind..

also I wanted to add that while yes I do wanted to slap Akane a million times over,her mischievous Character is extremely well done.The anime did such a good job showcasing her not only bad side but how she's tired of all this and tired of all the pleasure cause it no longer gives her satisfaction anymore
And I think that's a very realistic way of looking at things since people do just want sex sometimes and not really in it for the love.
That's why when she met Omuri(?) he was not like the others in wanting her body or anything like that but he just loved how she was as a person and in the end her honesty about what she does and being open about it to him surprised me to his response.
Would I have picked a different answer than Omorou?
Yeah I would have.Heck I don't think anyone would be okay with it either.
But taking the time to even hear her and understand why she's doing it and let all of it out is so unique to me because usually people won't hear what you have to say.It feels do mature with the way they portrayed it and while yes I don't know what to feel about glasses kun's decision to still marry her,It's something I'm..kinda glad he did in a way?Hard to describe but i guess you get my point..

Ironically, I didn't feel bad for her. I mean, she was bad but she learnt a lesson thanks to a guy who was "better" than the guys she knew. I'm fine with that.

But I've never forgotten the part she admitted she had sex with other men and he proposed her marriage.
That guy was just insanely stupid, and that was worse for me than the bad endings of the other characters. In fact, those endings were not that bad because they learnt something. They all... but that stupid guy.

even though i love this anime to death i agree his character's choices could have been presented better

The Akane ending was realist but the whole ending was the Most realistic anime ending I’ve seen, they hurt each other and they knew they couldn’t be together . This anime captured the male sex drive perfectly and captured adolescence perfectly.

i have a lot to say bu i can't...btw, i rewatched it 14 times...hanabi and mugi are in pain...just saying....akane did deserve something bad...but she has beauty so yeah..its true and realistic...no matter what u do if u have beauty, u have a good life to lead

The ending was predictable and there were many red flags that If you missed them you have to be blind or deaf or a 4yr old. Firstly that relationship was incest (but this is anime who gives af). Secondly The title itself was Scums's wish so the mc wouldn't get what they desired.

Even If they did get in a relationship in the end, they say first love doesn't last (unless you are a crazy couple)
