It's mainly the nostalgia that affects my views, though I was trying to be objective with regards to the fighting style. Still, if I were to start Naruto now, I don't think I would like it. One day, when you are older, you will also find battle shounen tiring. That is what age does to you. Nostalgia is the main reason why a lot of older watchers like these shows (H X H...Naruto...Bleach). Had these older watchers started now, they'd dislike H x H, Naruto, Bleach, etc... Peace. AoT is a shounen. Look it up. It pretended to be a seinen, but it is still shounen garbage, with many shounen tropes and shounen problems.

The poster who put jjk above naruro is a joke. Jjk doesn't even have a proper power system. And the uchia clan alone shits all over the entire jjk universe. Drop a guy like madara into jjk, and even sukuna, the demon king, would get rekt silly.

Netero's nuke move was cheap. It's a fact that the best fights in Naruto or Bleach >> H x H. I have grown up with Shounen and can tell which shows have more engaging fights. H x H probably has some aspects which are better than Bleach or Naruto, but the fights are not one one of them.

Idk why you like the fights in Naruto and Bleach so much. The choreography sucks, only a couple chars use interesting strategies and the skill systems suck. There’s loads of shonen with better fights. You could’ve named World Trigger or something, I’ve heard that the fights in that series are strategic af. Stating nardo and bleach as examples of shonen with better fights than Hunter x Hunter makes you come off as somebody who hasn’t read many shonen, despite you having ‘grown up’ with the genre

You seem mad bro. I’m just saying, why bring up Naruto as an example of a shonen with great fights. If you named an anime that actually had great fight scenes I wouldn’t have responded. The taijutsu is just generic lightspeed punches and teleport behind you nothing personell bs you see in any action heavy shonen adaptation. The choreography is meh and the same level as Hunter x Hunter only HxH has added strategy. The Madara entrance fight is your typical cliche mob fight where most of the fighters in the mob are standing still while Madara only fights a few people at a time. The animation sucks too and everybody just flies around like a ragdoll lmao. Troupe vs mafia was way cooler.

The anime was off in some frames. But I am talking about hand and feet movements. And battle IQ. Like catching a kunai that has an explosive sticker...then removing said sticker and sticking it onto an opponent , followed by throwing the kunai at another opponent. Taking out two guys on the flanks, and stabbing a third guy who attempts to ambush you from below. Then taking your weapon and windmilling the battlefield. You are not paying attention. This is choreography. Nothing in h x h has this level of fluidity, where a character thinks this fast on the spot, almost as though fights are second nature. Whether or not the opponents are all of a high calibre is irrelevant, because madara later goes on to demolish all the hokages. In fact, madara was the most op villain in the series. He only lost to the plot that required a villain which could be disposed and also because of boruto. I have seen all h x h fights. Not one fighter is as seasoned as madara, which is not surprising. Madara spent a lot of time fighting , and he was a prodigy. Tell me one fight in h x h, where a character moves like madara, and think as fast, while crushing the enemy..

The nen system is also highly flawed if you think about it. Someone who has specialisation has the potential to have unlimited powers, which defeats the point of the enhancer...conjurer, etc. It's a cheap way of bending limits. Defeats the point of the power system, as it allows hax powers, which is a shounen problem. The vows are also cheap, as arbitrary conditions can be set to get hax abilities. People with defined skill sets also don't seem to stick to their power types and blends. The whole system is pretentious. What's the point of having conjurer, etc... when specialists have broken powers...limitless and varies abilities. H x h fans are not very critical of the anime's flaws. I am trying to be objective.

Actually, unlike most of h x h fabs here, I have provided examples and a standard t compare against. Even my point about the nen system is valid. Such an elaborate system that becomes pointless the moment you have vows and specialisation. The move pool becomes limitless. The power system seems elaborate. It's not.

By unlimited I meant various powers are created. Almost limitless possibilities with the the vows. It's dumb. Precisely the type of garbage that teenagers think is deep or innovative.
