So the surprise was the new Kimetsu Gakuen volume. It did pretty well for a spin-off. Kinda just free fell though. Shoseki averages went down a little bit, but there were a bunch of new volumes released for various other series. Not much to say; everything is pretty much the same as previous weeks. The sales went up a little bit despite our rankings being lower. Hopefully next week will be a lot more exciting.
Also, I was trying to wait out on posting this to get the actual number of how much Kimetsu Gakuen 1 sold, but I’ll just post it later in the thread once I get the number. And we're almost past 1m total sales for the year!
Poll:
Episode 6 was inarguably the best one so far and created a lot of hype! Will it increase the sales? The answer is yes, but the question is, by how much?

Its the most basic shounen of all time and i really have no idea why is it so popular. I guess good animation = popularity. Even the art in manga wasn't that good.

True. Hopefully the next season is only a year away.

Shhhhhhh don't tell them, they will start frothing with anger and it will be hard for them ti breath.
2023 might be the year where I will be happy. This year is not happy year.
So it consistently selling since the start of the season and with around 1 million sales already, I can feel that it will be in the top 10 yearly chart this year as well.
With the airing of episode 6 and with the fights actually started, I can already see that the numbers are going to jump a lot.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

It is popular because it is good.

I love it because of the characters, not the art, animation or fights. The characters have so much heart and they are so relatable, even the no-name slayers in the final battle with Muzan. Also, unlike other shounen where the MC became OP and solo the bosses, teamwork and sacrifices are the strong themes of this series.
