What to watch after this as sequel but relatively new?

I don't like the idea of watching < 2000 y. things.

This is the origin, gundam origin and yet its new.
Is there anything sequellish to watch after this that is realively new too?

Like what can be watched after this movie as sequel without diving in in the old series or movies. But still as a sequel.
Maybe some path?
Like gundam origin movie -> xxx -> yyy -> zzz
//path of watching starting with this movie while all shows in the path are not so old

Sadly there is no "new" sequel to orgin since it is the prequel to the first gundam. If you realy want to know what happens to the characters in origin, you have to commit and watch the older series. I'd recommend watching the orginal trilogy of movies since it takes less time than the orginal anime.

I would recommed going through it chronologically order isn't really that important since only a handful of gundam titles need to be watched in order.

Oh and the compilation films for the original series trim a lot of the fat so go with them if you want to watch the original series

Yup, those are the direct sequels. You could watch Gundam Thunderbolt, which takes place chronologically at the same time as the OG series, but it’s a completely different story with different characters.

You may also watch the MS Igloo OVAs, but those are CG animation and again, not the same characters as Origin.

The newest Cucuruz Doan Island movie is a good option.

But if you go directly to Gundam Unicorn (skipping the OG, Zeta, ZZ, and Char’s Counterattack) you’ll miss quite a bit of context

If you don't like the idea of watching < 2000 y. things, just go watch Demon Slayer or Chainsaw Man and stuff. UC Gundam isn't your cup of tea.
