Different people will have different thoughts. But for me, its a bad adaptation. The story is executed very badly and the animation quality is extremely inconsistent. Kimizuka voice sound like a 50 years old man and Chameleon voice sound super cringe(like imagine Dio sound like that lol), the rest are either OK or good.

In any case, I would guess that it's usually difficult for a LN reader to say that the thing in which they invested time and money is bad.

I haven't read the LN but I can tell....at least from my experience that this was just a Bad Adaptation.

Reading the LN is probably much more Interesting cuz the Plot of this Story is Solid and I can imagine how it would feel like when reading for myself.

imo its the adaptation that sucks, anime was just all over the place and way too confusing to get a grip on, while the pacing was terrible for a mystery show

Chameleon has Dio's seiyuu and Kimizuka's VA is new I suppose
