Why is everyone so surprised all the time. I get that characters are surprised in shonen when a new weapon or move is introduced.But seriously people playing an instrument seriously cannot be shocked everytime they see a good performance.

I get what you mean, but that’s kind of the only thing that can change in music anime to make it more interesting. Plus, maybe their world is just that more interesting than ours?
