Help I Forgot an Anime Name

I have a really vague memory about this. It was a mediaval adventure anime and i forgot the rest except the fact that the MC is an orphan abandoned when he was a baby. He grows up to be an adventurer and somehow got the chance to see his biological mother once more. But turns out his mother was already living happily with her other child (which is his little brother). I forgot the rest of the plot, also i dont remember the visuals. If any of you knows the anime it'd be very helpful if you could tell me.

dororo comes to mind however it isn’t medieval, so i could be wrong, regardless you should give it a watch if u haven’t already :)
