I have completed episode 2 but I don't like the world building, nor do I see any potential in it. So does it get better?

Yes, it has kinda slow start but it'll get better after few eps.

It does get better, the first 3 episodes are just setup, after that is when the adventure stats and things gets really good.

I think the world building is the strongest aspect in the beginning imo. Would still give the show a shot but it may not be your cup of tea

I am with everyone else. The first season itself just slowly gets better. You even get to a point where you start missing the beginning in a weird way. Not because it is bad but due to the nature of the show.

Huh? The world building is literally the series main selling point. It’s one of the most unique world buildings in all of anime.

Watch the whole season.. the true tone of the aeries doesn't show itself until the later parts of the season. And the with each arc after the story just.. can't even describe without spoiling. But if it's not too much trouble. Just finish the season before u make ur full assessment

You are barely starting so keep watching and inmerse yourself in the story as much as you can and as much as the story lets you. Sometimes we need to be patient.
Regarding the world building, in my opinion Made in Abyss has one of the most FANTASTIC worlds I have ever seen and its world building is just magnificent!

I mean I don’t think they go to the abyss in episode 2 so yeah… the world building gets good tho when they go deeper. They stop at some point and I’m not gonna spoil anything but the movie is amazing tbh.

You dont see the potential? This anime had the best original idea I had seen in years. Not a fan of the pedo stuff at all. But the base concept is truly incredible.

He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

It does 100%. And the world building is just amazing. Every layer have different stories, curses and wildlife. It took me a bit to get through it but it gets a bit faster around episode 7-8 if I recall

What you saying? The world building is really one the strongest aspects of the show. Maybe give the show a little time, probably you'll like it
