| I have watched my fair share of isekai anime and read a few, but it wouldnt be an overstatement that this anime surpasses all the isekais i have experienced so far, bookworm is a close second tho. What are your thoughts? Which isekai do you think is better than this? |

| I have watched quite a few ISEKAIS but so far slime has the best world building and the story goes smoothly. It has everything you would want, lots of magic, wholesome-ness, epic flights, strong's characters, cute characters, and so on. ITS MY FAV. |

| I think Ascendance of a Bookworm was better, but you already mentioned that one. ReZero, Shield Hero, 12 Kingdoms, Escaflowne are also better, imo. |

Pacing in Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season was bad. Also the whole kill everyone just to revive them later thing shouldn't have existed. Never said anything about Overlord. But I absolutely loved Tensura Nikki. |

I’m a sucker for monster reincarnations and civilization builders/destroyers. This is one of the top isekai or even fantasy in general imo. The variety of situations and characters and development the plot explores keep you wanting to watch. Rimuru an absolute mad lad but still down to earth and relatable. Plus the adaptation is faithful and solid to the og (even if it needed a backtrack). I just love the world man it’s so dope! There are only like 3 I could compare from reading the LN’s to their latest, ie: plot wise would be (no order) 1: Overlord 2. Kumo Desu Ga 3. Re:Zero/ 12 Kingdoms(goes hard give it a try) *Konosuba for comedy cuz theres little to no linear plot lol. and i love 12 kingdoms ❤ |

| There's some I find better than it- Re:Zero(one of my favorites), Mushoku Tensei(Get's better, also one of my favorites) and.... that's all. Also, Overlord was quite enjoyable. |

| I have got three different types of Isekai recommendations; Tate no yuusha no nariagari,Honzuki no gekkoujou, Otome game no Hametsu flag. I love Tensura too. I probably think you would love Tate no yuusha is you are into somewhat serious and satisfying anime. Then there is Honzuki no gekkoujou. Its a really good show where a girl tries to do business with her ideas from her previous world. Then Otome game is a more of a slice of life isekai. These three are really good. |
