Demon Slayer opened #2 in US weekend box office with a total of $19.5 million( mortal combat #1 with $22.5 million)

| I was about to make a thread about this because I was curious to see how the Demon Slayer movie did on opening weekend despite the pandemic. When I went to the theater there was a lot of people there, but not as packed when I saw Dragon Ball Super Broly. I'm glad that the Demon Slayer movie did well in a limited run shown in half of the theaters. I believe that if it wasn't for the pandemic the Demon Slayer movie would have smashed the Super Broly movie. |
