| There are many ways in which anime can be well animated. Many older OVAs are insanely animated. Memories is a good example, but most OVAs in the 80s are outstanding, such as Gunbuster even. You have the most well animated shows with special effects and 3D environments in Ufotable. The most well animated movies are likely Miyazaki's movies of course. The most well animated fighting series is probably One Punch Man. No one animates SoL and Dramas better than Kyoto Animation (nichijou, Violet Evergarden, Koe no Katachi, etc.) The best animated CG anime is certainly Houseki no Kuni. And well, these are just some examples. All different in execution, but all amazing. |

| I think it's interesting people probably have different standards for this. I just care about fitting expressive character animation. Like, I think about, if I was an animator I'd want to animate like Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai, baccano, Tale of Princess Kaguya, The Night is short, Mob Psycho, Monster, Princess Tutu, and Magnetic Rose. I think those are the best animated, because I feel like every character moves in their own way. Like real people. And I prefer the sharp skippy look a bit too I guess hehehe ^//u//^ If I had to choose one out of those though I think I'd say Magnetic Rose, which is the first anthology in Memories. I think that's the best animation ever. |
