| Rainbow is neither underrated nor under-watched. It's just that some of the other popular Madhouse productions overshadow it, that kind of makes it elusive to newer anime fans initially. It's very popular among those who have seen it. |

| It's one of the few anime on this site that have the score they deserve. 8.5 is exactly what it is imo. |

| This is literally the most overrated anime in MAL with that score Well no, Clannad S2 is the most overrated, then Silent Voice, then Monster, then Rainbow Anime that try to be something deep and fail miserably at it are the worst |
| Why? It's in my top 10 most overrated anime and each time someone says it's underrated it gets even more overrated. |
| It really is the most underrated anime ever. I find it impossible to believe how people say it isn't. I guess people refuse to look into it deeper and how realistic it actually is. |
