I'm just wondering if anybody else has stumbled upon here and has completed all of the Tamayura series or plans to watch it (I warmly recommend it).

I've been watching Tamayura on and off past month and it really has been good time. Finishing Tamayura was quite a heartbreaking experience since I got used to having more Tamayura to watch and it's suddenly just over. I really liked following the events of this town past three years and seeing how these four girls are starting to figure out their dreams and what they want to do in the future.

I watched all of the show in February and absolutely loved it! It's already a show that's very dear to me.

I'm always surprised that Tamayura has effectively been forgotten, especially when its cousin Aria has aged pretty well.

Since I've recently become a huge Junichi Sato fan, I'd noticed Tamayura among the various original OVA series he'd directed across the 2010s (Zetsumetsu Kigu Shoujo and One Offs are the other two I know of). I've only seen the OVAs thus far and had a good time, so the TV series is on my Plan To Watch list for now. I'd heard a little bit about the series before from seeing a few people who really love it, and the cult following it has makes it sound like it'll be promising to get into.

I watched the original OVA and the sequel series last month. And do plan on watching More Aggressive and the rest when I find them legally availble.

Started since 2011 and finished this final movie in 2016. In fact, Tamayura franchise was my very first slice of life anime and worked my way to other anime after finishing the OVA and its first season (Tamayura Hitotose). Loved every minute of it! Aria was my second or third SoL anime. Both Aria and Tamayura are my top favourite SoL anime to date.

yeah I’m planning on watching this soon due to the fact it seems like something I’d really enjoy, but I’m really surprised at the lack of people that have seen this show

I just completed part 4 of the movie, and though i've watched first three parts and all other of Tamayura in 2015-2016, after starting part 4, it felt like it was yesterday! Great show, i already want to rewatch it from beginning!

January 2023. I've finished the movie 4 last night.

I hope there's at least one special or 1 hour movie in the future telling about their future life after HS.. for anniversary maybe(?) Haha, just wild thoughts. Not hoping too much.

Remaking into live action version also a nice opportunity i think.

Just like "kimi no todoke" from early 2010s that will re-released as live action this year. I mean, there's a hope for classic stuff to rise again someday in the future.

April 2023. I'm on my quest to watch all the highest rathed CGDCT shows. About a month ago I decided to give Tamayura a try, even though other than the movies it didn't have crazy ratings, because it still looked interesting. It took me a while to get used to the show, but when I did, it became magical. More Aggressive was an unforgettably wholesome experience, I loved every second of it. First two movies after that were alright, and then the last two movies hit like a truck. I love that this show has an actual proper conclusion unlike many others. I am so glad i watched it. I want to hug Potte so much.
