When I first finished s2 I was on the J.C staff did a good job side but couple of days ago I rewatched some scenes and oh boy this shit sucks the animation is bad the soundtrack and osts are dog shit even the op and ed unironically forgettable also the pacing is too fast overall I find this adaptation unbelievably unfaithful to the original source material

You know. J.C Staff did a good job for S2. If you think MAD House Animation of One Punch Man is better than J.C Staff it's true. But, MAD House was given 4 years for the One Punch Man project and even then the animation director is an influencer. In contrast to J.C. Staff who were only given 4 months to work on the One Punch Man S2 project. I know you feel dissapointed about season 2, but I heard a rumor from J.C Staff's Instagram account that it was the staff's apology because of them disappoint his audience. J.C Staff promised to adapt One Punch Man S3 with better results.

I haven't actually seen season 2 in a long time but I remember enjoying it, although the ending of season 2 was a bit anti-climatic and unrewarding from what I remember.

I personally enjoyed s2 and I just think the series overall is fun and not something to overthink when critiquing it. I also really enjoyed the arc about garou and him as a character overall :D

The OSTs are amazing. The guy from season 1 does them. People just hate this season and even hate on the composer without knowing its the season 1 guy and then they are like oh yeah its good.

It was a downgrade compared to S1 for sure, but watched on its own merits I thought it was fine.
