| Well the chances of this going to be full CGI are high because of all the blood and gore of the manga, if its traditional animation then it will have a lot of censorship, but hell it doesn't matter, Chainsaw Man is getting animated, i never thought this could happen, i trust MAPPA, this couldn't be in better hands, hype. |

| AAAH!!! so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really hope that fujimoto has lots of input -- since he's a huge film fan who tries to emulate different camera angles in his panels, i really want him to be there to direct cinematography and fully flesh out his vision. honestly, i'm so excited to have op(s) and ed(s) to bump to whenever i'm feeling ridiculously depressed about chainsaw man (which is to say 85% of the time). really hoping that the soundtrack is similar to the track they used in this pv https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez_e27fsmKY mappa is taking on a lot right now, so i hope this doesn't detract from the quality of the anime, and that more importantly the animators are being treated well. does anyone know how mappa is handling crunch? hopefully they're hiring more people to handle all these projects! |

| Although im not a giant fan of mappa as they are extremely inconsistent, they have a very big thing going for them in this adaptation and that is the fact that every fucking animator in the world wants to work on it. If you have been on twitter, you certainly have seen a lot of chainsaw man fanart and fan animation, so when the anime was announced a shit ton of those animators just lost their shit and are begging to be able to work on it. Will every single on of them do a cut there? probably not, but the amount of young freelancer work the staff might be able to get will probably be insane. |
