I was so confused when they revealed Char to be the guy from Texas, but I knew there was probably gonna be a character switch since the original Char was going to join the military and all. It all lined up so well but I was really worried the Char I always knew was gonna be an ex farmboy hahahha. Such a good episode

Yep, Char/Édouard/Chavel is a true revenge-obsessed villain from the beginning. Such a jerk move to both Artesia and the original Char.

I felt so bad for the real Char this episode. He was just a happy kid with a bright future but now it's all gone for him. Same for Artesia too, she lost so much in just this one episode. Even if it was all obviously foreseeable it is sad seeing everything take the worst possible route, despite being incredibly interesting to watch. The road to war continues.

Yeah, this is a good adaptation, but as I've said before, I think the hour long episodes do this story justice. This is still good, as I love to see the story of Casval unfold, and this episode hits pretty hard.
