on | In no way will this anime be made and not do something with the episode count, pacing, etc. that will please the readers of the novels. Somehow, someway, they will say they fucked it up and will begin bitching about it. |
| I am apprehensive but hopeful for this adapt, the original SAO had a lot of wasted potential, hopefully this series can bring that potential to life. |

| As long as they don't rush this one and not fill it with unimportant side events, this will be great. There is vast potential to be adapted, showing the adventures of Kirito and his various temporary acquaintances, but especially him and Asuna. All of this goes without saying that I hope they won't reuse too much past assets and be lazy. Some snippets of frames are tolerable, OSTs is alright tho. |

| oooooohhh yeahhhh i Loved the feeling Aincrad gave me in the beginning, a full serie around that is going to be awesome! I want to believe there's not much space for error now so....let's hope a good director, studio and production comes along and make it nice as possible!! |

 In most cases, the MAL Average Scores don't mean anything, here is a question: were the works made before 2000 all shit? Why are they so damn scarce in the Top 50? Think about how MAL is quite literally a filtered amount of the Anime fanbase. Here's a timeline of the Top 15 in which you can check that, almost always, the scores are affected by the freshness, popularity and other factors that have nothing to do with quality. |
