| A single character is usually what gets me into a show, or past the first couple episodes(for example I only started watching One Piece for zoro), but I don't think one amazing character would make a show bearable. |

| I did, multiple times. one of them being phantom world. an absolute trash show, but I love mai, I just had to finish it. my 2/10 list is probably full with these sort of anime. |

| More like VAs for me I've watched Watamote just because it was Stocking from the Gainax anime in the english dub. Also, I'm currently watching this ugly-ass Appleseed TV series because it's Shinobu from the Monogatari series. |

| I've spent several years without dropping shows, with the mentality of "If I've started it, I'll finish it". Can't recall any shows I disliked where there was a character I liked, but there were times where the only thing about the show I liked was the opening/ending. Thankfully I've allowed myself to drop shows now, so I can actually watch shows I enjoy and not waste my time with the ones that don't please me. One of the most imporant factors for me to like a show is that I like atleast one of the characters, so it might happen in the future. |

For me Raphiel was the carry. I guess you could count Satania with her too because Raphiel's dynamic was mainly based around Satania.  |

| I guess the closest thing that comes to mind is Nero from Fate/Extra: Last Encore. I wouldn't have dropped the show anyway since I typically don't drop too many anime, but Nero was a carrying that show on her back. I'm sure there have been plenty of others in my long and arduous anime-watching career, however. |
