I'm curious, did the author ever reveal anything of the unknowns he left out from the semi open-ending he left the manga as?

「Eto」
I feel like Eto is the biggest mystery of all the characters. The impression I got is that she hates her father Kuzen in a sense of betrayal for feeling left out as a baby and not caring for her, I guess, but with her ultimate goal to create a world where ghouls can live peacefully, (I'm not exactly sure in what sense she believed that as) ... I don't feel like she fully hated him but then why did she give him to doctor Akihiro Kanou to be consumed to death for experiments.

... Which then leads to how some corpses or near-death characters survived while others didn't.

How did Itsuki Marude and his gang, Ayumu Hogi, etc. get brought back to life, but Enji Koma and Kaya Irimi stayed dead.

Other than that, I'm also very curious of:

「Tooru」
... What mindset and resolution did she change for the better in her unrequited love for Ken, her trauma of abuse and thirst for torture and murder of others.

「Rize」
Finally Rize. ... I didn't expect her to become a heroine in distress but fuck her ending is sad.
At first I thought Ken's mindful experiences were illusions of her saying what he wants her to say but now I believe it's actually her directly speaking to him, which makes his last internal conversation with her intriguing of her hate towards him and the world.

What I don't get is why Nimura didn't save her if he loved her so much, through his blind cope of madness. At least, he could have tried when he was aware of wishing for a peaceful normal life with her.
Disregarding Nimura's powerlessness though. Why didn't Ken save her... if he got out of the kagune, why couldn't he pull her out as well?

... As for Ken. I'm not exactly sure why he developed similar mannerisms to the ghouls he consumed or why it was seemingly left out, but I guess he developed a split personality like Jason did after he was tortured, right?
