----------------------------------------
Okay, this was an action-packed episode with a lot to take in. I still can't help but feel that it was kind of disappointing, like, when compared to the last battle with Jorougumo, since that had a good build-up to it, though. I know that the Princess that Shutendouji and Douketsu have been looking for has been mentioned from the start, but it still feels like they made their move out of nowhere. Then they took Keisuke hostage to take the Youseiken they already have when they could have just crushed them with brute force. I mean, that's pretty much what happened later on, but still. It felt uncharacteristically cowardly? Not that they are heroes or anything so I guess anything goes. And I can't condone the way Natsume tried to fool them either. They weren't going to give Keisuke back, at least not before checking if the Youseiken were the real deal, and they took him hostage in the first place, but it still feels bad to see the good guys doing something that can be considered underhanded somehow. And the battle that followed after negotiations fell through was cool, but it was one-sided. I can't believe I have been waiting to see Fubuki-hime and Merameraion again for 37 episodes only to see them being crushed as if they were nothing by Shutendouji, even Seiryuu was easily defeated. And I will be lucky if I see them again at this rate. Shutendouji then was defeated by a physical manifestation of the Soranaki virus that kind of came out of nowhere to target Natsume, who was the Princess all along. The lore behind this seems really interesting though and I can't wait to know more. What was that vision that Akinori and Touma had? Are they also reincarnations like Natsume? What about Keisuke? The plot thickens.
