| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Hongou has set up a secret meeting with Yamagishi, this time making an exposé of their incidents as coercion. Whereas he doesn’t mind what some highschoolers think of him, he doesn’t want his crush Tomita-sensei to see him like that. He’s already stated he feels he’s a perpetual loser meaning she wouldn’t be interested in him as she is a natural winner. The deal? To sleep with her to get it over with, if I recall this was the plan when they first met under their aliases, just that time was at least somewhat with the goal of improving her writing. Now the motivation feels overtly different. Upon seeing her shaking as she asked him, the power obviously being in Yamagishi’s court and this being another case of her rushing things and getting in over her head, he thought of something. He agreed, freezing her in her tracks, and picking her up later. While he probably has a plan of some sort like Hongou suspects, she’s prepared him a surprise. To interest him for the last time… The other thematic loser Sugawara got a call, Saegusa referring to her as the fox who wants to be with the prince but lures him away by showing him the beauty of his rose, only to be forgotten. Thus she met up with Izumi, mentioned the arrival of a couples list and the upset Asada, but more importantly set up a date with him for some “advice”. But firstly, it was to possibly see if Izumi felt the same as Saegusa in which he agreed with him. So, as if in response, as a refusal of her fate as the fox, she used her acting skills to get in a suggestive situation with Izumi. This marks both of the losers to be foxes striving not to be left behind. Momo had a moment of seriousness when it came to Sugawara, their last meeting got to her. Kazusa and Izumi are both stuck thinking about their new roles to each other, Kazusa wanting help buying underwear. And Sonezaki and Sonoe spent some quality time together bleeding over with the Little Prince story, it being a favorite of Sonoe’s. |
