| I will be getting a PS3 for MGS4. Disgaea 3 is just a bonus. Ah... ever since my PS2 went bonkers... I haven't been able to play Disgaea 1 or 2... I have sometime to burn as well between MGS4 and Disgaea 3... Hrmmm. :3 |
| From what I've seen of this game, they could have easily put it on the PS2...*sigh* Oh well, I was planning on getting a PS3 sooner or later anyways. I've only beaten Disgaea..but I own Disgaea 2 as well. I just need to play it. Maybe after Aedis Eclipse...hrm.. |

| they want it ps3 exclusive so those who have yet to buy a ps3 will have more incentive to get it just for disgaea 3 as there are a lot of disgaea fans out there. just my opinion on that though. |

Remember that how the sprites look isn't what it matters, but how much their animation has improved since the previous installment. To me, it's the most obvious explanation to why Disgaea 3 was placed for a PS3 released instead of the PS2. He added that "the character sprites for Disgaea 3 take 3~4 times the amount of labor to create compared to Disgaea 2," and the team is "doing our best to improve the sprites." I think that kind of justifies it. Better animation equals more memory used and what not. |
