| Lol, this episode was hilarious at so many levels; that suicide attack of Irma (seriously, why she stabs herself?), the dance scenes with 0 animation, all that people that was killed at the end before finish his phrases... Really good involuntary comedy. |

| So much has happened in this episode. Firstly, Irma died. The impact of her death isn't felt much because we hardly know her. But from the montage on how Andréa survived, he really loved her. She was such a catch. Secondly, even though the animation falters on some things, it was able to adequately depict the violence. As Victor said, it's not a battle but a massacre. Whilst the Parisians were partying, the enemy caught them by surprise. If they couldn't hit the target in practice, there was no way they would win. Finally, the death of Victor had the greatest emotional impact, especially on Isabelle. It was a double whammy. Not only did he die, but he was looking for Genevieve at his final moments. Despite knowing Isabelle's feelings for him, he still loved Genevieve all this time. Isabelle might choose to be a single for life, if she survives. P.S. I hope not one among Jules, Genevieve, and Jean are killed in the final episode. |
