| I love kenji kawai's score for deen's higurashi and fate. His fate score is the only aspect that is better than the ufotable adaptation. Also his slavic japanese fusion score for innocence sold the movie for me, great expansion of the musical ideas established in the first film. I try to avoid ultra popular stuff in my forum replies but sawano's music for re:creators and attack on titan and kajiura's score for sao and kara no kyoukai are both amazing and greatly contributed greatly to the atmosphere. |

| Magica Madoka and Sword Art Online have the same composer as Fate/Zero. So they're good as well. Attack on Titan also has a good soundtrack. |

| The OSTs for Kill La Kill, Seven Deadly Sins and Guilty Crown are all excellent and composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, who composed the Attack on Titan OST. Other great OSTs are Your Name, Violet Evergarden, Psycho Pass, The Promised Neverland and Made in Abyss. |

| Thread moved into the correct board. The anime where soundtrack specifically contributed to my love for them are Madoka Magica, Mushishi, Jigoku Shoujo, Shinsekai Yori, Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi, Tasogare Otome no Amnesia, Monogatari Series, Legend of the Galactic Heroes (it uses only classical music in its soundtrack and I love that kind of music). Generally speaking anything that Kajiura Yuki worked on will be good, but my favorite from her is certainly Madoka Magica. If you are looking for shows with great soundtrack, then give them a try. |
| Gundam Unicorn's soundtrack is another great one by Sawano. Just take a look at how the Mobile Suit theme is used in an actual scene, this is easily one of my favorite scenes in any anime I've watched and the soundtrack usage is a big part of why I love it so much. Although it's one of the less loved Gundam entries, Victory has a great soundtrack as well, and it's oddly soothing and peaceful which heavily contrasts with just how dismal the actual show is. Rinne no Lagrange's OST is another personal favorite of mine cuz it has nice energetic electronic tracks like these: But also really ethereal and mystical sounding tracks like these: The use of such wildly different styles in the OST really helps accentuate the blend of CGDCT/SoL and sci-fi elements, and gives RnL a really unique atmosphere and vibe. Oh and I can't forget to mention Hades Project Zeorymer. While the soundtrack as a whole isn't all that memorable, Zeorymer's theme is badass enough that it carries the entire OST |

| Haruhi movie is my all-time fav OST. Liz was very nice as it meshed with the art style and the characters very well. Anyway, here are a bunch of my favorites. Many tracks found their way onto a playlist I made awhile ago so in many cases you can check them out immediately. (Also, ToraDora, Haruhi and others are on it). Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Tsuioku-hen -- Melancholy and epic. This was my fav until the Haruhi movie showed up. On playlist. Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 Girls und Panzer -- Turning famous military marches into something that makes you want to hug something. On playlist. +1 Haibane Renmei -- Melancholy. On playlist (I only included the ED for that playlist). So Ra No Wo To -- Many on the playlist. Strike Witches -- Many on the playlist. Sasameki Koto -- Cute, short piano and violin tracks. Many on the playlist. Saki -- How to make a board game exciting. Maria-sama ga Miteru -- On playlist. +1 Shakugan no Shana Insert music (classical): Nodame Cantabile -- An awesome intro to classical. +1 Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu Relaxing: Aria the Animation Non Non Biyori |
