This episode made me want to play Pokémon Fire Red so I could also complete the Pokédex

I see a lot of people angry at Gou’s approach to Pokemon but I for one celebrate it. After all, I’ve been around since the tagline was “Gotta catch ‘em all” and everyone was kinda mad at Ash for not doing just that.
Ash, you want to be a Pokemon Master? At least carry one or two antidotes with you, man!
We had some nice throwbacks with species that we’ve seen at the beginning of the OG series, felt a bit like the Safari Zone too with all that catching and no battling.
Was hoping for Scorbunny to use some fire move which would have helped with weakening those bugs, but I guess he hasn’t learned any yet.
