| I just finished watching Ano Natsu de Matteru, am really enjoying Urusei Yatsura, and I've always been a sucker for human/alien romances thanks to Mass Effect. Are there any other good ones in anime and manga? Preferably with a male human/female alien. Other non-human female leads (no furries) are cool too, I enjoyed Seto no Hanayome and the Rosario+Vampire manga. Anime and manga both welcome, preferably with completed or up to date translations for manga |

| If you haven't seen it already, I'd recommend To Love-Ru. Without spoiling any of the show, pretty decent ecchi show with a nice Sci-Fi feel to it. |

(it's cuter than it sounds) I never finished the series so I don't know if they get together though Cat Planet Cuties (Alien neko girl X human boy) (Has ecchi though) Eureka Seven (Alien girl X human boy) Brigadoon Marin to Melan (Alien mecha boy X human girl) (My personal favorite!) (If you don't mind manga) Yome Ga Kore Na Monde (Alien girl X human boy) (Note it's a bit ecchi but it's nontheless a very sweet story about the domestic life of a guy and his alien wife!) Kaiba (Has aspects of alien x human romance scattered across the series) |

| +1 Shakugan no Shana Seikai no Monshou Ookami to Koushinryou -- Depends on your definition of furry: Holo in her human form just her ears and tail are "furry". Fully transformed she's a huge wolf but IIRC she only appeared a couple times in that form. I'll mention these in passing just because: Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu -- To all appearances Haruhi is a normal high school girl (though an eccentric one) but she also happens to possess god-like powers despite being born to human parents, etc. Also, the romance is rather thin as both parties seem oblivious. Nodame Cantabile -- Ok so this one doesn't really apply (Nodame is 100% human) but it's funny that the guy tells her more than once that she should go find a guy "From the same planet (as her's)" due to how kooky she can be. Tbh Nodame acts kookier than some of the aliens you'll get in other recs so maybe it's worth a look anyway :) |

| I see no one has mentioned Narue no Sekai yet. Kurumi in Steel Angel Kurumi isn't technically an alien, but she might as well be. The first season features a boy who accidentally kisses Kurumi and activates her. In the second season she comes alive for a lovely young cello-playing girl. |
