| So I've been watching quite a bit of more stereotypical 'kiddie' anime's like yu gi oh, naruto etc. However now I feel like i want to mix things up and start watching anime better suited for grown ups. Not talking about sexual stuff or anything like that but just animes in general that take up adult problems, alternatively more complicated stories with more mixed feelings and stuff like that. So, if you know one you like, that you think I will like too. Please post it down below. Thanks. |

| Any seinen or josei anime works, just look up the tags and pick a anime that looks interesting to you. Those two lists above my comment are pretty good aswell. |

| Does Uta∽Kata count? It's known for having some touchy topics... it must've disturbed the TV Parental Guidelines a lot, because it landed a TV-MA rating for its American release (a rating for adult shows in case you're non-American and don't know this) lol idk i liked it a lot |

| In addition to whats already been suggested. Clannad Shirobako Hanasaku Iroha Violet Evergarden Hibike Euphonium Chihayafuru Sakura Quest Just Because Sora yori mo tooi basho None of these are violent or ecchi, but IMO are definitely geared toward a more mature audience |
| I'll just add these: Bartender Hataraki Man Fune wo Amu Saraiya Goyou If you want to watch a "kiddie" anime that covers mature themes, I strongly recommend GeGeGe no Kitarou (2018). Not too many "kids shows" attack the Japanese educational system for white-washing the country's role in WWII, or have episodes that portray suicidal mothers who later go on a rampage of revenge. |
