this chapter is the reason there wont be a second season of the anime. The first season they consciously chose to end with chizuru and tanaka having sex and it was successful because that's what the audience came for. Nobody wants a teasing selfish liar who ruined that poor guys life just when he graduated and his life was starting. She is by far the worst teacher of the whole series and this is the worst arc of the whole series because nothing good came of it.

Izumi and Watanabe did have sex with eavhother in this chapter. Some people have made the mistake of thinking she rejected him, when in fact it didnt't happen. She has a tendency to apologize for her shortcomings and in the beginning when she apologized, he thought she meant she rejected him about a romantic relationship but she told him he was wrong and they become romantically involved. Also he already gave away that they did it when he said "I would not be a man if I stopped here". She apologized not as a rejection but because she goes through with it by rushing into it.
