Those last few lines from Racer X and Speed were very poignant and philosophical. What a great ending for this show. It's always great when a show sticks the landing and gives a satisfying conclusion. For most of the show, I was debating whether or not there was anything special about this show, but with these last few episodes, I finally found it. There's definitely something here. Overall, this show is good. It's not great, but it's good. Maybe for it's time it was great, but it hasn't aged as good as one would hope. It's got a bunch of flaws that drag it down, like that stupid kid and the chimp, its' ancient animation/art style, and uninteresting storylines/characters. Still, it's pretty good.

There’s kind of a sublime, very poignant beauty to this
The tragic but sweet relationship between Speed and Racer X
Speed’s selflessness even in the face of his own goals
The strong bond between him and Trixie
His endlessly loyal younger brother
I know this show is campy and all that, but it’s beautiful IMO and the episodes never get boring.
