I'm wondering how they managed to green-light this considering the overwhelmingly negative feedback towards the OVA. Not that I mind, I'm always up for watching a garbage-fire.

Yeah its odd especially when it is being announced not long after the OVA and I can only assume this will be given more production time, money and will be longer in runtime. Wonder what sparked this decision.

i have not watched the OVA yet but the manga is kinda long, it has a lot of characters and a lot of things happening, i thing an anime would work better than a movie

I thought it's hentai based on the thumbnail.

Watching it convinced me otherwise (or did it?) but honestly, it looks medicore.

Watching the trailer really gave me such a third-class horror movie feeling. You know, stuff 13 yo watch during sleepovers because they think it makes 'em cool.

Still, I like the design of the main heroine and I kinda wanna see her getting some hentai-tentacle-rape (because look at that trailer... we all know what's happening there).
Jokes aside, I didn't even realize this is getting a movie. I only heard about it getting an OVA. I thought "Oh, what a pitty; the artstyle looks awesome (read: familiar)" and went on.
Just the other day I heard about it getting a movie aaaaand... that's it.
I'm not expecting much. Just my entomophobia kicking in.
