In case you're interested in the remake (Space Battleship Yamato 2199 aired in 2012) instead of the original mentioned above, the remake has the female crew in formfitting uniforms with a swimsuit episode (episode 24) so keep that in mind :) |

| I wouldn't want someone watching over my shoulder while I was watching Cowboy Bebop... Rating R -17+ violence & profanity and I can think of two scenes right off the top that would raise a few eyebrows. Awesome show but leave it until later. |

| Jewelpet, but you might not want to watch Seasons 6 and 7 on a plane. S6 has several deaths by impalement, and multiple (unnecessary) human forms in S7 show quite a bit of skin. |

At least as much as some of the male characters get but given how many characters there are overall there wasn't much time to devote to character development to many anyway, male or female.Yeah, the remake does have it. Though, I haven't seen it yet. From what it looked like, they did the whole moe thing just to add more character depth to the crew. That's something the original Yamato was lacking - there were a few memorable fellas in the crew but not many, and now they have 4-5 girls with striking designs. That said, I'm not sure if those girls indeed have more depth to their characters or is it just flashy designs. I'm yet to watch the anime. I was re-watching a few episodes (in preparation to watching the sequel 2202 series) and came across a bath scene and a few others so it's not just the swimming episode I mentioned for the fanservice part ;) |

| +1 Princess Tutu +1 Spirited Away +1 Cardcaptor Sakura Ojamajo Doremi is a good one to watch for some laughs. Air too, though it also provides more sadness. Stuff I'd +1 but wouldn't recommend on a plane:
