Not pure comedy anime but these made me laugh pretty hard:
One Punch Man
Infernal Cop
Ore Monogatari
Hajime no Ippo
Hataraku Maou-sama

Though a lot of anime has very obnoxious """comedy""". Hellsing ultimate for example.

No, I haven't dropped it and don't plan to. Though I don't particularly like it and find the continuously repetitive jokes annoying. But I'll still watch it through till the very end.

Well, can't help since everyone preference is different. Like, I find Toradora! & Sakurasou to be the most annoying anime of all time.

Well this show is not for Tsundere hater. I find this anime to be most annoying anime of all time simply because of Aisaka Taiga. If I would've to give this anime a rating then it would have been less than zero. Not a single Episode was enjoyable, every single Episode were total annoyance...
P.S- well it's all subjective opinion & sorry for going off topic

2 Anime that for sure made me laugh out loud or even to tears are Gintama and "Daily lives of highschool boys" .

There 100% more of them. But those 2 popped in my head first.

I prefer black comedy more than comedy portrayed in anime so far, but Golden Boy and GTO still sound cool.

i don't know if can give just 1, but i will give a small list of the Anime i found the funniest (only the ones in which "Comedy" is the main theme, and not just added value to the plot).

Grand Blue ( "College Humor The Anime").
Kaguya-Sama: Love is War (it's a RomCom, that starts more Com and then turns more into Rom).
KonoSuba (an Isekai when everything turns bad- the hilarious way).

there are more I've seen, but these are the top 3 in terms of Comedy, i really had a huge amount of fun and laughs watching them. i laughed out loud quite a few times while watching Grand Blue, while the 2 others were still very funny but overall got me more invested in their story(especially Kaguya-Sama).
