| this show had a really strong start, and a really strong end, but most of the middle was mid at best... unfortunate... |
| What a great show and I was really not expecting that kind of happy ending. But, this still is such a great show. Hyakkimaru finally got his body back and he can finally live as a human. All of the others who died, RIP. Dororo's grown-up was cute. I loved this show. Hyakkimaru's two mums died... I'm just sad about that. |

| This was a great show!!!! I liked the ending. The whole story was interesting and the show covered a lot of deep themes imo. Overall I had an awesome time watching this anime!!!! I'm definitely gonna miss both Hyakkimaru and Dororo!!! |
| Was expecting a bit more from last episode; it was definitely rushed. But it was one of those anime in a while that actually made me feel something, really good overall. |
| EUGH damn so that's how everything ended hmm, i mean i wanted more for closure but it's fine either way cause i'm still satisfied and what a journey of this anime man. Gonna miss this one ofc cause it kinda left me a bit hollow feeling like but hey i still think this is a great anime either way with minor flaws here and there but it's just nitpicks so nyeh. 9/10 |

| The resolution of the battle was a good one- they were setting up for a big Final Boss fight with that huge demon; but it didn't happen- and tbh I'm glad, really wasn't up for this incredible anime to end itself on a horrible monster battle with some freakish thing that you need to know some secret weakness to kill; making a giant bloody mess and reducing the whole story conclusion to a dumb shounen battle. Poor Tahomaru- that guy really did prove himself to be a hero in this story; he basically died in that fire while Hyakkimaru got the attention. In his brother's long shadow, even though he was totally absent from his life until this time. He did not at all deserve such a fate, but he realized he did not want to go down with the stupid demons and rejected them. Mutsu & Hyogo's sacrifice was not for nothing. But his and Nui's death was not shown, hinting they may have survived. Hyakkimaru's confrontation with his father was a tense moment.. but Daigo proved how much of a stupid idiot he is by swearing he'd sell anyone to demons again it was worth it... Hyakkimaru could have said something like "Yeah dad I understand; you committed mass murder and sold your soul to demons, sacrificed your first born son and countless others who fell into the demons' jaws; all for your ambitions. At least you sound pleased with yourself for all that you've done. What a pathetic old man you are." And oh man did I want him to. But he doesn't say any such thing, or lay a finger on him, he just turns away from him and wishes him well. I didn't like the way Hyakkimaru and Dororo split up like that, but obviously there's a lot more to happen- there's a treasure on the other side of the mountains; Daigo needs to be rebuilt from the ground up; Dororo is going to come of age and play a clear role in that rebuilding- and Hyakkimaru is going to wander and find his meaning- there's another 24 episodes just in that. Feels like we have watched half a story. But it was a very good one! |

| Wow, really liked this anime a lot. Watching the Journey of Hyakkimaru was a sight to behold. He was so close to being a demon if it wasn’t for Dororo’s interactions to help him be a human. 9/10 enjoyed it very much even if last episode seemed rushed. |

| Noo they can't do us like that showing a split second of a grown-up Dororo and bail I hope the source material extends further and if it exists it gets adapted into a sequel. I loved the finale it was a fun anime to watch but I am not able to articulate how but in any case it was an enjoyable watch.' However, there is one thing that I did not really like and was kinda rushed we don't see the prosthetics maker guy and the mother talk it was just they went in there to help Hyakimaru and then, oops entrance blocked off? oh well let's stay here we fulfilled our purpose anyway! :D instead of some type of survival instincts kicking in but hey it's anime. |
